Full Job Description
Equities Engineering team builds and operates the systems that power stock trading for millions of customers. The team focuses on order management, execution, market data, and reliability, ensuring trades are processed accurately and with low latency. You'll work closely with product, data, and infrastructure partners to deliver systems that meet strict performance and regulatory requirements. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team responsible for delivering and maintaining critical equities trading systems. You will set clear goals, guide technical direction, and support engineers in delivering reliable, scalable services. You will partner with product and business teams to translate requirements into execution plans, ensuring systems meet performance, accuracy, and compliance standards. Your work will directly impact the quality and reliability of the trading experience for customers!

This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA office, with in-person attendance expected 5 days per week.

What you'll do
  • Lead a team of engineers to deliver reliable equities trading systems with clear uptime and latency targets

  • Partner with product managers and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver features on schedule

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.

Base Pay Range:

Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC)

$230,000-$270,000 USD

Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL)

$203,000-$238,000 USD

Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL)

$180,000-$211,000 USD
