THE WORK
We are seeking a level 4 Associate Manager to lead a Ground Software Agile Product team supporting multiple OPIR (Overhead Persistent Infrared) programs. Must have an active secret clearance, location is either Boulder, CO or Longmont, CO.

In this position you will:
• Be a part of the OPIR ground segment program. We will be providing the next generation ground system - an open architecture/open framework system that will provide the customer with the flexibility to meet the demands of a rapidly changing environment.
• Lead a SAFE Agile Product team of 15-20 individual contributors in support of product team execution whose primary focus is on the design, development, and testing of a combined hardware/software solution for operational delivery.
• Assist the existing leadership team with vetting, hiring, staffing and building strong teams.

Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualifications :
• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance
• Experience with Agile methodology or Lean thinking
• Experience with software development programs
• Demonstrated leadership skills and behaviors that align with the Full Spectrum Leadership Imperatives
• Technical team leadership experience
• Strong project management ability; consistently delivers multi-disciplinary, high risk programs on schedule and within budget

Desired skills
• Experience with complex and sensitive personnel matters including staffing and employee development
• Experience leading teams in dynamic environments
• Experience with Program or Project Management
• Previous experience in vetting, hiring, staffing and building strong teams
• Experience with Cost Account Management & Earned Value
• Command and Control, TT&C, Mission Management, or Ground Control Software experience
• C++, C, C#, or Java programming experience or exposure
• Modern architecture/microservices experience

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $113,900 - $200,905. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $131,000 - $227,125. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
