Job Description

ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED

We are seeking a versatile, inventive Software Engineer to design, maintain, and enhance complex, mission-critical software systems. In this role, you will tackle processing-intensive analytics, drive novel algorithm development, and manipulate extremely large datasets across real-time and business management platforms. Whether working individually or collaboratively within a tight-knit team, you will touch every phase of the development lifecycle-translating high-level system requirements into scalable code, evaluating hardware/software trade-offs, and integrating modern COTS/GOTS tools to keep our systems cutting-edge.

The annual base salary range for this role is $186,000-$220,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.

Required Skills

Full-Lifecycle Software Engineering: Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex, diverse software systems using modern software design methodologies.

Large-Scale & Real-Time Processing: Hands-on experience building processing-intensive analytics, manipulating extremely large datasets, and working with real-time architectures.

Algorithm & Feature Development: Proven track record of novel algorithm development and synthesizing system-level requirements down to individual software components.

Architecture & Trade-Off Analysis: Ability to provide targeted software inputs for system design, including hardware vs. software trade-offs and code reuse strategies.

Integration & Testing: Proficiency in reviewing, testing, and resolving software problem reports (SPRs), alongside evaluating Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) solutions in place of custom development.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, PLUS 14+ years of professional software engineering experience OR High School Diploma / GED, PLUS 18+ years of hands-on technical software development experience in lieu of a degree.

Desired Skills

Enterprise & Business Systems: Experience developing or integrating Business Management Information Systems within secure environments.

Containerization & CI/CD: Hands-on experience with modern DevOps pipelines, continuous integration tools, and containerized deployment environments.

Data-Driven Architectures: Background in event-driven frameworks, relational/non-relational database design, and web services integration.
