Position Overview

As a Software Engineer within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Phoenix, AZ.

This is an onsite, in office position in Phoenix, AZ only.

This Software Engineer role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform solutions within the Rapid Application Development team. The successful candidate will assume ownership of an existing application portfolio and contribute to ongoing enhancements, automation initiatives, and modernization efforts.

Job Description
• Develop, maintain, and support SharePoint-based applications, including sites, lists, libraries, and workflows
• Design and build solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Partner with Business Systems Analysts, Product Owners, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system stability and performance
• Implement application enhancements and defect fixes aligned to business priorities
• Support system integrations using APIs, connectors, and SharePoint data structures
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups
• Ensure adherence to enterprise governance, security, and compliance standards
• Create and maintain technical documentation and support materials

Required Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1 - 2+ years of experience in software development and application support
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint (Online and/or On-Prem)
• Experience developing solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments

Preferred Skills
• Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, or related technologies
• Understanding of Power Platform governance and environment management
• Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and Azure services
• Experience with Nintex forms
• Exposure to automation and process improvement initiatives
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale SharePoint applications
