As a Software Engineer, you are a reliable developer, well-versed in the patterns and practices of your languages and tools. You contribute to the team's consistent delivery of iterative value to their clients. You also provide direction on less complicated tasks to peers.
This is a role for someone eager to ship real products and build in an AI-native engineering environment. You will use AI as a core part of how you design, code, test, and debug software, and you'll be supported with mentorship, code review, and clear guidance as you take on increasing ownership.
About the role- Develop and test complex software solutions independently
- Release and validate software
- Contribute to software support, incident resolution and blameless reviews
- Develop code modules and patterns useful within the team
- Use AI code generation tools such as GitHub Copilot, Anthropic Claude Code, Cursor, or similar as part of your daily workflow.
- Participate in code and design reviews
- Provide software documentation and demonstration for technical and non-technical audiences
- Assist junior peers with understanding and completing their assignments
About you Minimum Qualifications
- Expertise solving problems by developing software using established patterns and practices
- Experience with the programming languages, frameworks and platforms used by the team, such as C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Angular or AWS
- Experience using AI code generation tools such as GitHub Copilot, Anthropic Claude Code, Cursor, or similar.
- Exposure to developing software modules or patterns for reuse
- Experience conducting integration tests, assisting with software releases, and providing ongoing support
- Familiarity with Agile software development practices and artifacts, such as user stories, backlog refinement, and sprint planning
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 3 years of experience in a professional software engineering or similar role
- Experience developing software modules or patterns used within the team
- Experience developing for a cloud environment or cloud provider certification
- Experience supporting continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
- Agile certification
- Experience mentoring and developing others
- Experience providing thought leadership to influence software development practices

On-Call Expectations This role may include participation in an on-call rotation to support production systems and ensure service reliability. On-call responsibilities may include coverage during nights and weekends. If applicable, frequency and scheduling will be determined by team needs and communicated accordingly.
