This person will work closely with our customers to build best-in-class enterprise web applications using modern Python backend technologies and React-based front-end frameworks. SDG's Software Engineers have experience with a handful of the following technologies. If you have them too, we want to hear from you:- Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI)
- React / JavaScript / TypeScript
- RESTful APIs & Microservices architectures
- GraphQL (nice to have)
- Serverless Architectures
- AWS / Azure / GCP
- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Container based architectures, Docker, Kubernetes or similar
- Messsaging/Event Based systems, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar
- Relational and Non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Agile / SCRUM / TDD
- Git / Atlassian Suite
Requirements:- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience with Python (backend development)
- Strong experience building modern UIs using React
- Experience building and consuming APIs and microservices
- Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot) to increase development velocity, improve code quality, and support complex problem-solving
- Experience delivering solutions in large-scale enterprise environments
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Fair and equitable compensation is important to us. The salary range for this opportunity is $115,000 - $145,000. The offer may fall outside this range given factors such as skills and experience. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
