DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Lead the design, development, and deployment of applications for financial services platform. Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend developers to create seamless and user-friendly mobile experiences. Utilize the latest iOS technologies and frameworks to build robust and efficient applications. Implement best practices for mobile application security, performance optimization, and code quality. Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on our mobile strategy. Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and quality assurance of mobile applications. Mentor and guide a team of developers, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Work closely with DevOps teams to streamline the deployment and release processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, iOS Mobile Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, iOS Mobile Engineer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following: developing iOS applications using Swift and Objective C programing languages; utilizing Xcode and SPM (Swift Package Manager) for working with open-source libraries; using iOS technologies and frameworks, including Foundation, UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, and Core Data, to build robust and efficient applications; using Git and possess in-depth knowledge of source code management to effectively manage a large codebase; implementing best practices for mobile application security, performance optimization, and code quality; mobile application architecture and design patterns like MVC or MVVM to build robust and scalable mobile applications; utilizing RESTful APIs and JSON parsing for seamless data exchange and integration; writing unit tests using iOS unit test frameworks such as XCTest; and conducting thorough code reviews to ensure code quality and functionality.

Full-Time. Salary: $197,000 - $215,000 per year.
