Role OverviewWe're seeking a remote mid-level Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our backend engineering team. You'll design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET applications that power our core platform. You'll work collaboratively with product, design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Remotely develop and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET
- Remotely design and implement data models and database schemas
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following established patterns and best practices
- Collaborate with team members on code reviews and architectural discussions
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Participate in system design and optimization efforts
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency with C# and .NET Framework or .NET Core
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs
- Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Knowledge of software design patterns and architectural principles
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
