DescriptionMarkon is seeking a Front End Engineer to support the Fort Meade customer in the design and development of responsive, high-performance web applications. This role will work closely with backend developers and senior front-end engineers to deliver scalable, maintainable, and user-focused solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop responsive, high-performance web applications using React and Next.js
- Implement server-side rendering, static site generation, and dynamic routing with Next.js
- Collaborate with backend developers to deliver cohesive, scalable solutions
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and SEO
- Integrate RESTful APIs into front-end applications
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end architecture decisions with senior front-end engineers
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with this Customer.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 14+ years of software development experience
- Strong experience with React and Next.js
- Experience with server-side rendering, static site generation, and dynamic routing
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs
- Strong understanding of front-end performance optimization, scalability, and SEO best practices
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Experience collaborating with backend developers and senior engineering teams
Salary RangeUSD $210,000.00 - USD $225,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
