category-defining marketplace in the hospitality space that's scaling fast and already operating at serious volume (millions of users, hundreds of millions in revenue generated).
They're now hiring a
Senior Frontend Engineer to lead a full
web rewrite of their highest-traffic user journeys.
This is a
Senior role with clear Staff-level scope - ideal for someone who wants ownership and influence without waiting years for the title.
What you'll own - Leading the rebuild of key surfaces (search + booking flows)
- Driving improvements across performance, SEO, and conversion
- Defining frontend architecture and reusable patterns in Next.js
- Partnering closely with product/design on large initiatives
- Raising the bar through code quality, standards, and mentorship
- Improving developer experience (testing, tooling, observability)
Tech Next.js • React • TypeScript • Tailwind
Playwright • Datadog
Backend: Rails / Node / AWS
What they're looking for - 5+ years building production web applications
- Strong React + Next.js experience (SSR / modern architecture)
- Experience leading large-scale rewrites or migrations
- Strong product sense (performance, UX, conversion)
- Comfortable owning ambiguous, high-impact projects
