Responsibilities- Design, implement and manage highly scalable and efficient services on a hybrid cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes/Docker on public and private cloud
- Contribute to the efficiency and reliability of the build system by improving and maintaining tools like CMake, Buck2
- Develop and maintain a system for dependency and release management to ensure the smooth deployment of software updates
- Optimize the CI/CD system for reliability, performance, and scalability
- Ensure infrastructure is resilient, secure, and scalable to meet the demands of the development team and business needs
- Understand the needs of development teams and evangelize appropriate open-source and proprietary tools to push the boundaries of automation and productivity
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field
- One (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation
- Skills with the following required:
- C++, Rust, Python, and Bash
- Kubernetes and public cloud platforms like GCP
- Git, including development workflows on Gitlab or Github
- Experience with Linux fundamentals
- Writing code for high frequency trading systems
- Building tools for exchange simulators
Skills may be gained through academic coursework and concurrently while pursuing academic studies.
Anticipated New York annual base salary range $194,500 to $230,000, plus eligible for discretionary bonus.
