We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer III to design, develop, and modernize our windows application. In this role, you will contribute to technical design and implementation, solve complex engineering challenges, and collaborate across teams to deliver reliable and maintainable software solutions.
This is a remote position and candidates must live within approximately a 70-mile radius of our office location in Allen, TX;

The salary range for this position is $92,350- $130,000 and will be determined based on location and experience level.
All positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity.
What you'll be responsible for:- Completes product technical design and prototyping, software development, bug verification and resolution.
- Performs system analysis and programming activities which may require research and timely, effective, and quality delivery of software into production.
- Provides technical/engineering support for new and existing applications from code delivery until the retirement of the application.
- Develops and tests applications based on business requirements and industry best practices.
- Uses best practices and standard guidance to create and modify code. Considers how code changes will affect end users and internal teams.
- Collaborates with QA team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Participates in cross team projects as needed.
- Works on critical tasks and deliverables with minimal assistance, and sets and updates expectations on size, scope, and timelines.
- May represent team in cross-team meetings and discussions.
- Adheres to documented departmental and corporate standards. Participates in the definition and documentation of standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Plans unit tests and integration tests to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of developed software.
- Debugs and troubleshoots issues as they arise, providing timely resolutions.
- May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you'll need to have:- A minimum of 4 years of software development experience.
- Experience with Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience developing responsive web applications.
- Experience integrating UI applications with RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, debugging, and troubleshooting.
What would be nice for you to have:- Experience with Java, SQL and C#.
- Experience with Ionic or hybrid/mobile application development.
- Financial services industry knowledge.
