The Fuchsia WLAN Core team is part of Fuchsia's Connectivity organization. Our goal is to bring reliable WLAN connectivity to Fuchsia. The Core team implements to the 802.11 specification, working closely with Driver and Policy teams to develop a full WLAN stack.

This opportunity is to participate in the development and sustenance of WLAN features for Fuchsia, integration and end-to-end tests, and power-save capabilities. Responsibilities

• Design and develop WLAN features, focusing on 802.11 spec correctness.
• Write, review, and maintain Python-based WLAN tests that run in Fuchsia's infra connectivity test lab.
• Contribute to the next generation of infra device architecture for Fuchsia connectivity.
• Implement and monitor device metrics for crashes, performance, and feature rollout.
• Identify opportunities for improving the efficiency and performance of our software stack.
