About the roleTeleTracking is seeking a Software Engineer II - Quality Engineering to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions that improve software quality, accelerate delivery, and increase engineering efficiency across our healthcare technology platform.
This is an opportunity for a software engineer with a passion for quality, automation, and continuous improvement. You will partner with product, engineering, and DevOps teams to build automated testing solutions, improve CI/CD pipelines, and drive software quality across our healthcare technology platform.
What you will do- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for web applications, APIs, backend services, data pipelines, and distributed systems.
- Build reusable automation frameworks, testing utilities, and engineering tools that improve software quality and development efficiency.
- Create and execute functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and performance testing strategies.
- Develop production-quality software and automation components using modern programming languages.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to improve release confidence and delivery speed.
- Investigate defects through application analysis, API testing, database validation, log analysis, and system troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with software engineers to identify root causes, validate fixes, and prevent regressions.
- Monitor quality metrics, test coverage, and automation effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
- Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate development, testing, documentation, and code reviews while ensuring quality, security, and maintainability.
- Participate in architecture reviews, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical design discussions.
- Contribute to engineering standards, automation best practices, and knowledge sharing across the organization.
What we look for- Experience developing software using Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Scala, C++, or similar object-oriented languages.
- Experience designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks for enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JUnit, NUnit, pytest, Jest, or comparable technologies.
- Experience testing web applications, REST APIs, backend services, data platforms, and event-driven systems.
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD environments using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with experience using logging, debugging, and monitoring tools.
- Experience working with Git, Agile development practices, and collaborative software delivery teams.
- Experience with SQL and database testing, including relational and NoSQL technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, and distributed systems is a plus.
- Experience using AI-powered development tools and evaluating AI-generated solutions with sound engineering judgment.
- Healthcare technology or SaaS experience is preferred.
Education- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field with a minimum of five years of professional experience; or
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field with a minimum of three year of professional experience.
