Full Job Description
Summary

We are seeking a Software Engineer to build and enhance the web applications that power our regulatory technology platforms. You will work across the full stack in C# and .NET, designing databases, APIs, and user-facing features that help our investment adviser and investment company clients meet their compliance and reporting obligations. Exposure to AI is a plus, as we increasingly apply these tools to automate our workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain all layers of our web and WinForms applications.
  • Optimize the application for maximum speed.
  • Maintain security and data protection.
  • Create and maintain efficient, reusable, and dependable C# code.
  • Ensure applications deliver the greatest possible performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Identify bottlenecks and defects and recommend workable solutions.
  • Help maintain code quality, structure, and automation.
  • Integrate the front-end and back-end aspects of each application.
  • Design and build databases that represent and support the business.
  • Communicate in a detailed professional manner to end users.
  • Contribute ideas and solutions to the IT team and members of management.
  • Design, train, and deploy machine learning models that support compliance, reporting, and data-quality workflows.
  • Build AI-assisted product features using LLM APIs and frameworks, including retrieval-augmented generation over regulatory documents.
  • Responsible for legacy code and applications.
  • Integrate AI services into .NET applications and monitor accuracy, latency, and cost in production.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience building web applications.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET, including ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework.
  • Solid front-end skills with JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern framework such as Angular or React.
  • Experience designing relational database schemas and writing performant SQL (SQL Server or PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
  • Clear, detailed written and verbal communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Must-have excellent collaboration skills (clear writing; evidence of working on a team) and Familiar with version controls - git workflow
  • LLM APIs / RAG / prompt engineering a plus.
