What You'll Do- Help create models and sims for cross domain uses
- Learn how to convert data sheets into code
- Aid the team in creating AI&T testing tool suite to aid in SITL testing
- Maintain and create coding environment
- Verify model and sims against hardware
What We're Looking For Required - 1-3 Years of experience in modeling and simulation for complex aerospace missions
- 2-3 years working in C++ and Python
- Strong understanding of object-oriented software development practices
- Ability to understand new challenges quickly, formulate a plan, get buy-in, and execute
- Understanding complex distributed systems, and how the components you design and deliver will fit into those larger systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- BS in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or closely related STEM field
Your Ideal Background Preferred - Experience simulating in 6-DOF relative motion and RPOC
- Contributed to previous digital twin efforts
- Working knowledge in multiple at least one subsystems such as GNC, Flight Dynamics, EPS, Propulsion, etc
- Previous experience in simulations frameworks such as Basalisk, STK, GMAT
- Working knowledge of distributed compute frameworks
Additional Requirements: Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
Compensation and Benefits: Your base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. The anticipated salary range for this role is $90,000 - $125,000 annually.
