Software Engineer This role has been designed as ''Onsite'' with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office. Job Description: We're looking for a high-energy, adaptable Software Engineer in our Subscriber Services group to help drive the evolution of our embedded architectures to AI-assisted cloud-native architectures. Candidates will participate in full software development life cycle from concept to delivered product. They must be able to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment, adapt to rapidly changing market requirements, be comfortable experimenting with new tools, technologies, and think outside-the-box by meeting new challenges with innovation. The Subscriber Management feature set provides high scale, highly available network access to a Service Provider's regional and core networks. Education and Experience Required: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent • Typically 0-2 years experience Candidates must have experience in the following disciplines: • Strong programming fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, C++ • Familiarity with object-oriented design and programming principles • Familiarity with Linux-based development environments and associated tools • Understanding of operating systems and computer networking concepts • Understanding of AI concepts and tools • Container principles and construction • Git-based source control • Dev-ops with Docker or Kubernetes Additional qualities should include: • Analytical and problem-solving skills • Demonstrated track record of taking initiative and being resourceful • Ability to work collaboratively and solve problems • Strong communication skills What We Can Offer You: Health & Wellbeing We strive to provide our team members and their loved ones with a comprehensive suite of benefits that supports their physical, financial and emotional wellbeing.
