Full Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Participate in the design, implementation, and test of software systems.
  • Understand hardware and software interactions, and collaborate with firmware and hardware engineers.
  • Participate in project planning and estimation.
  • Mentor engineers and technicians.
  • Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

Qualifications
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
  • Knowledge and experience in object-oriented languages (C#, Java, C++, Delphi)
  • Strong understanding of OO principles and concepts
  • Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
  • Must have a strong work ethic and commitment to quality
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
  • Background check results satisfactory to SEL
  • Negative drug test result(s).
  • Ability to adhere to SEL's tobacco free workplace policy.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Agile development principles and processes
  • Knowledge of C# and the .NET Framework or .NET Core
  • Understanding of modern web development
  • Knowledge and experience in web supporting technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML5).
  • Experience with User Experience design
  • Experience with revision control systems (Git)
  • Experience with automated unit testing (NUnit, MSTest, Jest)

Software Engineer: $97,700 - $144,400

We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job and responsibility. We base our starting pay offer and title on job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills
