The Opportunity:

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. (SEL) seeks professional, innovative and detailed individuals for our Software Engineer - Firmware position located at our Charlotte, North Carolina field office.

Software Engineer - Firmware (Multiple Openings)

Responsibilities:

The Software Engineer - Firmware develops the specifications, designs, implements, and documents a wide range of software and firmware products developed by SEL. The incumbent will apply the principles of computer and software engineering and computer science to: (1) write test plans; (2) conduct design tests; (3) prepare and maintain test and design documentation; (4) review data sheets and instruction manuals; (5) undertake to improve SEL's research and development processes; and (6) participate in industry technical meetings and conferences as required to meet operational and strategic goals.

These positions will be based out of the company's Charlotte field office located at 901 Center Park Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina 28217. These positions require regular on-site work at the Charlotte office and do not permit remote work or work-from-home arrangements.
