Job Duties:- Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs for multinational computational software company.
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
- Develop and maintain new Artificial Intelligence Large Language Model (AI/LLM) interface.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain features in low power area of Genus (Cadence synthesis too) and power analysis area of Joules RTL power solution product.
- Fix critical bugs in the area of low power and power analysis which will impact business growth of Joules RTL power solution, Joules RTL design studio and Genus synthesis solution.
- Interact with customers and field application engineers in North America on low power, power analysis, and product-related issues and provide quality and timely solutions.
- Some telecommuting permitted.
Qualifications: - Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related engineering occupation.
- Utilize C, C++,TCL, STL library for tool development
- Utilize Linux, gcc, gdb, version controlling tools like Perforce, GIT, memory and runtime profilers, shell scripting for development and debugging
- Software design patterns, object-oriented programming, optimization and debugging
- Utilize IEEE standard languages, Unified Power Format (UPF), and CPF (Common Power Format) for power and synthesis engine
- Programming with Python and advance Machine Learning (ML) library for scripting and prototyping ML based application
- Data structures and algorithms, including Binary Search Trees, Graphs, and Hash Tables
- Utilize Verilog to understand the customer hardware designs and to create new hardware designs
- Utilize VHDL to write new hardware designs
The annual salary range for California is $186,142 to $253,500. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure.
