Overview
We are looking for aSoftwareEngineer Ito join the Product Engineeringdepartment within our Incentives business. This early-career full-stack engineer will help build and improve customer-facing product experiences across the frontend, backend, APIs, and cloud while learning how tooperateinside a modern product engineering model that connects product outcomes, technical delivery, instrumentation, and post-release learning.
This role is a fit for an early-career engineer who wants to grow by working inacustomer-obsessed environmentwhere secure, scalable, iterative delivery matters, and practical exposure to AI-assisted workflows.
- Collaborate with product, design, andotherengineers to understand requirementstodeliver usable product increments
- Use AI-assisted development tools thoughtfully to accelerate delivery and improve quality without compromising clarity, reliability, or accountability
- Help define,implementandmonitorthe features you buildthroughtesting, release readiness, and post-release
- Support shared ownership of systems through documentation, diagrams, and knowledge sharing
- Contribute to operational excellence by helping investigate issues, improve support readiness, and strengthen production discipline
Qualifications
Whatwerelooking for
- BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Recenthistory ofsoftware engineering experience, including internships, co-ops, academic projects, or equivalent hands-on development work
- Provenexperience usingmodern web development using JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and a frontend framework such as React or Vue
- Provenbackendexperience withJava, Node.js, Python,Postgres,cloud-based services via AWS,REST APIs, or equivalent technologies
- Interest in AI-enhanceddevelopment using tools such as GitHub Copilot,PlaywrightMCP,andagentorchestration
- Interest in working across the full stack and learning how product, frontend, backend, APIs, cloud, and operational concerns fit together
- Interest in product thinking: understanding who the user is, what outcome matters, andhow toleveragemetrics to assess the customer impact post-release
- Strong communicationskills and willingness to collaborate across distributed teams and cross-functional partners
- Comfortablelearning in an evolving environmentbalancingproduct modernization, security,and operational maturity
- A mindset ofcuriosity,shared ownership, steady learning, andcomfortable operating in a low ego environment

Benefits
Salary Range for California Residents Only: $115,763.00 to $131,500.00
Salary Range for Illinois Residents Only: $78,220.00 to $101,700.00
