ob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Software Engineer 4 to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications that meet business and customer requirements. This role is responsible for the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, application design, coding, testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing system enhancements. The ideal candidate will possess strong full-stack development experience, cloud technology expertise, and a solid understanding of modern software architecture, DevOps practices, and secure application development.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain software applications based on business and customer requirements.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable software solutions.
- Develop full-stack web applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, leadership, business stakeholders, and development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Enhance existing applications through performance tuning, code optimization, and technology upgrades.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies to improve system performance, security, and scalability.
- Design and implement secure cloud-based application solutions following industry best practices.
- Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP web services with internal and third-party systems.
- Optimize relational database performance through SQL tuning, query optimization, caching strategies, and read/write clustering.
- Configure, deploy, and support Java web applications hosted on Apache Tomcat or similar application servers.
- Implement secure coding practices, including SSL, encryption methodologies, and application security standards.
- Follow DevOps best practices, including source code management, branching strategies, continuous integration, and deployment processes.
- Create and execute unit tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and code reviews.
- Produce technical documentation, architectural designs, and development standards.
- Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Mentor team members by promoting development best practices and technical standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requir
ed Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional programming experience.
- Experience developing enterprise web-based applications.
- Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming principles.

- Knowledge of secure cloud technologies and modern application architecture.

- Experience with DevOps practices and software development lifecycle methodologies.
- Ability to create and execute unit tests.
- Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, RUP, or similar software development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
