What you will accomplish: Job Duties: Define, design, and implement high-performing, reliable solutions for distributed systems with high throughput using a variety of third-party and eBay internal libraries and frameworks. Collaborate closely with colleagues to develop innovative solutions that meet functional and non-functional standards and expectations. Build highly available, scalable RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems. Analyze, design, and develop test-automation suites for systems. Produce clear and well-documented design documents and participate in design and code reviews. Build, test, and deploy code continuously. Share engineering support, release, and on-call responsibilities. Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed from anywhere in the US.
What you will bring:Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Salary: $137,669.00-196,500.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Additional DetailsBase pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
