NOTE: This position is offered as a hybrid role in the Seattle, WA area. You must be willing to work onsite at the Nordstrom Seattle office a minimum of 4 days/week in order to be considered for this position.

Nordstrom has an opportunity for a Software Engineer 2 to join the team. As an Engineer 2, you will be a key member of the Nordstrom Technology team. You will apply scientific, mathematical, and social principles to design, build, and maintain technology products, devices, systems, and solutions that provide amazing customer experiences while meeting the needs of the business. The scope, responsibility, and accountability is at the function level.

A day in the life…

  • Design, build, and maintain backend systems and APIs that ingest, enrich, and distribute product data
  • Partner with product, platform, and engineering teams to understand how product data flows and how to improve it
  • Own features end-to-end—architecture, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and iteration
  • Contribute to system design and code reviews, helping to uphold high engineering standards
  • Investigate and resolve production issues quickly and thoroughly
  • Drive continuous improvement across system performance, reliability, and developer experience

Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$121,500.00 - $188,500.00 Annual
