Our team is evolving from a traditional Globalization focus to become a core contributor to GenAI platform and service development, owning critical GenAI infrastructure while ensuring these systems are world‑ready by design.
We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop, build, and scale core GenAI services, evaluation frameworks, and agentic capabilities that are used by Adobe’s core engineering teams and AI‑powered products worldwide. This role sits at the intersection of GenAI platform engineering, developer enablement, and global readiness.
What you'll DoGenAI Core Services
- Build and deliver shared GenAI core services— such as Voice Service, Evaluation Service, Moderation Service, and AI‑powered Globalization bug triage and auto‑fix services—to enable safe, reliable, and scalable GenAI adoption across CXO engineering teams.
- Work with GenAI platform teams to onboard CXO core engineering teams onto shared GenAI services, driving reuse, quality, and consistency.
AI World‑Readiness & Global Quality
- Enable world‑ready GenAI features and agents by embedding internationalization, localization, and global quality requirements into GenAI services and workflows.
- Define and evolve the GenAI Globalization Framework to support multilingual, quality‑compliant GenAI experiences.
- Partner with core teams to improve multilingual capability, correctness, safety, and global consistency.
Continuous Localization (CL) Platform Modernization & Stability
- Support the modernization, stability, and scalable operation of the CL platform, including contributions to DevOps, monitoring, security, and operational reliability.
- Develop CL workflows for LLM‑based development, supporting localization of system prompts and GenAI‑related UI content.
What you need to succeed- BS or MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Solid understanding of GenAI feature and agent development, including relevant technologies, architectures, and system design
- Hands‑on experience building or integrating GenAI‑powered services using LLM‑based workflows.
- Strong background in web application development and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience or interest in internationalization/localization, multilingual systems, or global product development.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working across product, platform, and distributed engineering teams.
Expected Pay Range:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $114,100 -- $214,950 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In California, the pay range for this position is $148,500 - $214,950
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
