Software Developer SME
The Opportunity:Support, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and coordinate the usage of local and wide area networks (LAN and WAN), electronic mail, telecommunications, and PC-based systems and related software within a cybersecurity environment. Evaluate hardware and software, including peripheral, output, and telecommunications equipment. Set up and administer security procedures. Troubleshoot problems. Recommend and implement LAN policies and procedures and ensure adherence to security procedures. Train users on LAN operations and procedures.
You Have:- 10+ years of experience in software engineering roles
- 6+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Based Solution, Python, C#, or Java
- Experience in software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks and Java and JavaScript in a Linux environment
- Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
- Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions
- Experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using agile methods
- Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
- Top Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- SAFe Software Engineer (ASE) Certification
Nice If You Have: - Experience in Java libraries, including MongoDB, Spring, and OSGi
- Experience with Perl, Python, Lua, and NGINX
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and team-oriented environment and balance long- and short-term taskings

CompensationSalary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
