The Program:
This is a rotational program that consists of a NetSuite specific onboarding period of time followed by two 6-month site specific locations culminating in a final team placement. This is a hybrid role requiring a certain number of days in the office, as determined by your team. You will receive exposure to different aspects of the product and/or code base. You will have 10 or so knowledge expansion sessions from security to tech writing to growth, any type of technical program position - either via Zoom or in person. You will also receive opportunities to network with leadership in addition to a mentor.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do: We are seeking best-in-class engineers with the expertise and passion for solving challenging unique problems. You will use your knowledge and creativity to craft and build innovative new systems from the ground up. You will be writing code, completing programming projects, and be responsible for testing and debugging of Oracle software. Successful candidates will also be passionate about clean code and reducing technical debt. You will have the opportunity to work on groundbreaking technologies to tackle real-world problems in a collaborative, agile environment. What You'll Bring (Objective Minimum Qualifications): To be considered for a Software Developer position in the NetSuite Global Industry Unit, you must possess the Objective Minimum Qualifications (OMQs) below. Please ensure that your application clearly indicates that you meet these OMQs, either on your resume and/or by uploading additional documents such as a transcript.
  • Have an advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent science/engineering field by June 2025.
  • Must start within 12 months of graduating with their degree, earliest start date available is June 2025
  • Are strongly proficient (i.e., able to complete coding projects with no assistance) in at least one of the following programming languages:
    • Java, Python, SQL, JavaScript
  • Have completed coursework, projects, internships, and or research in three or more of the following:
    • Algorithms
    • Database Design
    • Object-Oriented Programming/Design
    • Mobile/Web Development
    • Networking
  • Enthusiastic about automated testing
  • At least 1 prior co-op term in a QA/Dev role
  • Have completed at least one internship, research assistantship, teaching assistantship, or equivalent practical experience working in the relevant technical areas noted above.
  • Work from Kitchener office 2-3x/wk.
  • Reside in the Canada and/or attend a university in Canada.
  • Able to acquire work authorization in Canada in 2025.
This job requires proficiency in the English language. Oracle is a global company with operations in dozens of countries around the world and our teams, including the team this position is part of, are comprised of individuals located in various jurisdictions. As is required of employees in all jobs at Oracle in North America, candidates for this position are required to understand, and communicate, in English so that in the course of performing their work, they can interact with teammates in other locations who are not fluent in the French language.

CA: Hiring Range in CAD from: $66,800 to $145,900 per annum.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
