What you'll do day-to-day
Work closely with quants, developers, and senior staff mentors to build tools for the analysis and trading of financial instruments.
Design and deploy real-time, scalable applications for the firm's highly automated trading activities.
What we're looking for
An impressive record of academic achievement, including advanced coursework in fields such as math, statistics, physics, engineering, computer science, or other technical and quantitative programs.
Keen attention to detail, creativity, and exceptional problem-solving and programming skills (which may include experience programming in languages such as Python, Java, or C/C++).
An interest in producing clean and efficient code.
The ability to collaborate effectively with others as well as work independently is a plus.
An interest in learning about quantitative finance; no previous finance experience is necessary.
Enrollment in a full-time degree program; students who apply to this internship are usually approaching their final year of full-time study.
