Full Job Description

The mission of Encoding Technologies is to deliver the best A/V experiences to our members and our studio customers via media innovations. A critical component for achieving this goal is highly scalable, cloud-based encoding pipelines that support generating media assets in various formats and quality levels and propagating media metadata associated with these assets across the surrounding ecosystem.

The Media Encoding Pipelines team focuses on developing such infrastructure to support workflow orchestration, metadata publishing, task prioritization, and catalog management. In recent years, our scope has expanded from supporting the on-demand streaming service to ads, free-to-air broadcast television, video podcasts, and more. We are looking for talented engineers to join our team and elevate our system to the next level.

Qualifications:

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $250,000.00 - $413,000.00. This compensation range will vary based on location.
