We're looking for a self-driven engineer to join a highly technical team building state-of-the-art technology for a fast-moving, evolving product. This role spans dozens of disciplines, vendors, and technologies - from industry-standard tools to bleeding-edge, domain-specific systems where the only "documentation" may be a research whitepaper. You'll help choose the right technology for each problem and often be responsible for building the first implementation of something that doesn't exist yet.
This is a dynamic, high-ownership role suited to someone who wants to learn continuously and isn't intimidated by ambiguity.
Responsibilities:- Develop, maintain, and push forward state-of-the-art technology as part of an advanced, evolving product
- Work across a wide range of programming languages and technologies, selecting the best tool for each problem alongside a highly technical team
- Collaborate across teams, vendors, and disciplines to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical plans
- Take abstract, loosely-defined problems from concept through to finished implementation
- Independently research and prototype solutions in domains where formal documentation may not exist (e.g., working from academic whitepapers or emerging standards)
- Contribute to architecture and technology decisions as part of a collaborative, senior technical team
Qualifications:Required:- 2+ years of Linux experience
- 2+ years of experience with at least one MVC framework (Vue.js, React, or Angular)
- 3+ years of experience with JavaScript and Node.js
- Strong self-direction, curiosity, and comfort learning new domains with minimal guidance
- Solid communication and collaboration skills; able to work cross-functionally with other teams to gather context and drive projects forward
Nice to Have:- 2+ years of C++ experience (used for native UI development)
- 2+ years of Java experience
- Cloud development experience, including enterprise-level Kubernetes
- Experience with low-level or embedded hardware
- Experience with broadcast technologies and standards
- Experience with distributed systems (clustering, CRDT, eventual consistency)

Salary Range (Based on relevant Experience): $85,000 to $105,000 per year.
