Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to support backend and full-stack software development for enterprise applications in a production environment. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on builder with strong experience in Python, Java, TypeScript, React, distributed systems, and AWS. The role requires end-to-end ownership of software delivery, strong attention to accuracy and auditability, exposure to AI/LLM technologies, and the ability to rapidly ramp up, troubleshoot, and take ownership of production systems. This is an onsite position requiring five days per week in Nashville, Tennessee.

Key Responsibilities
 Design, develop, test, and deliver backend and full-stack software solutions.
 Build scalable applications using Python, Java, TypeScript, and React.
 Develop and maintain distributed and event-driven systems using AWS services.
 Design and implement serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and DynamoDB.
 Develop REST APIs and service integrations.
 Build AI/LLM-enabled solutions using technologies such as Amazon Bedrock, OpenAI, prompt engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
 Ensure AI-generated outputs are validated for accuracy, reliability, and business requirements.
 Optimize application performance through database optimization, caching, and scalable architecture.
 Monitor production applications using CloudWatch and related observability practices.
 Participate in on-call support, incident response, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and preventive remediation.
 Take end-to-end ownership of features from design and development through deployment and production support.
 Develop solutions with a strong risk, compliance, accuracy, and auditability mindset.
 Work with distributed systems and decoupled architectures to support scalability and reliability.
 Identify and resolve application, integration, performance, and production issues.
 Rapidly understand existing codebases, dependencies, logs, dashboards, and system architecture.
 Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver reliable software solutions.
