Key job responsibilities
• Build the GenAI-powered future of Prime experiences - design and develop Agentcore infrastructure, multi-agent orchestration, and autonomous experimentation capabilities.
• Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market - from natural language program configuration to AI-driven CX generation.
• Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment, including Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication frameworks, ML-powered recommendation engines, and real-time event-driven orchestration systems.
• Create solutions that run at incredible scale and speed - our platform serves hundreds of millions of Prime customers across dozens of countries, processing millions of state transitions daily.
• Build distributed, fault-tolerant systems that are scalable, low cost, and easy to manage - from experience orchestration engines to incentive management platforms.
• Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems - you'll own features end-to-end, from architecture to production deployment.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software with development cycles measured in weeks, not years.

Our vision is to deliver enticing and engaging multi-step experiences that influence Prime customers to act and make decisions more efficiently and quickly. We build mechanisms and technologies focused on delivering seamless multi-step experiences to achieve business goals. These solutions empower Prime teams - Acquisition, Onboarding, Engagement, and Retention - as well as other organizations, to effectively engage customers throughout their membership lifecycle, helping achieve business goals through scalable, error-free, and timely delivery of customer benefits. This approach allows us to address churn by providing personalized, relevant experiences at each stage of the customer journey.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
