Responsibilities

  • Receive and process software requests
  • Authorize software installations consistent with license availability
  • Maintain records of software provisioning activities
  • Track software license assignments
  • Reconcile purchased versus installed licenses
  • Maintain approved software inventory
  • Support ServiceNow and ITAM data integrity
  • Prepare operational and management reports
  • Advise Government on low license availability and compliance risks
Qualifications

Requirements

  • Active Secret security clearance at time of award.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and direct the work of software asset management technicians.
  • Proven capacity to independently exercise discretion and judgment on matters of programmatic significance including software license management and reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple service areas and accounts.
  • Strong customer service orientation with demonstrated experience in a DoD property accountability leadership role.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing system required.
  • Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to present asset management metrics and analysis clearly to J6 leadership.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed; capable of managing the J6 Asset Management Program with significant operational autonomy.
  • Team-oriented with demonstrated experience leading collaborative property accountability organizations.

 

Education and Experience

  • Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field; or equivalent combination of directly related professional experience
  • Required Experience: 3 or more years of progressively responsible professional experience in government property administration or DoD property accountability, including demonstrated supervisory or lead experience directing the work of other technicians.
  • Prior experience supporting a DoD or J6 customer environment is strongly preferred.
  • Required: ITIL v4 Foundations
  • Preferred: Microsoft Licensing Fundamentals

 

Physical Requirements

The essential physical functions below are incidental to the primary management and administrative duties of this position and are performed in furtherance of the asset accountability responsibilities described herein:

  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods in a professional office environment.
  • Ability to ambulate throughout office buildings, storage facilities, and customer site locations.

 

Pay Band MinUSD $65,600.00/Yr. Pay Band MaxUSD $101,540.00/Yr.
