The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions while providing technical leadership to development teams. The Software Architect will collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and product managers to ensure technology solutions align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities - Design and define the overall architecture for enterprise software applications.
- Develop scalable, secure, and high-availability system architectures.
- Evaluate business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Define architecture standards, design principles, and development best practices.
- Lead technical discussions and provide architectural guidance to engineering teams.
- Design microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications.
- Conduct architecture and code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, QA, DevOps, and Security teams.
- Ensure system performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and architectural bottlenecks.
- Create architecture documentation, technical specifications, and solution designs.
- Mentor senior developers and technical leads.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills - Strong expertise in software architecture and system design.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, Go, or Node.js.
- Experience designing microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and API Gateway patterns.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Knowledge of messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of security principles, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and secure coding practices.
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF (preferred).
Preferred Skills - Experience with serverless architectures.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Experience with API management platforms.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, Splunk).
- Knowledge of AI/ML integrations and modern software engineering practices.

- TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification.
