Teachable is seeking a dynamic individual to revolutionize our social media channels, strategically aligning them with our go-to-market initiatives. If you're ready to craft compelling content, collaborate cross-functionally, work closely with creators, and impact business goals, this role is for you. In this role, you'll:
  • Be the content maestro and owner of Teachable's social channels
    • You'll orchestrate and oversee the creation of captivating content that resonates with our audiences.
    • You'll spearhead social media campaigns that align with our business objectives; and propel traffic and conversions on key initiatives.
    • You'll dive into the realm of community management and social monitoring with finesse.
  • Bring to life new ideas to educate our social followings about Teachable's platform
    • You'll transform intricate concepts into riveting content across various channels.
  • Craft an industry-leading LinkedIn strategy
    • You'll leverage internal and external relationships to position Teachable as a thought leader in the creator economy.
  • Partner proactively with our Creator Partnerships team
    • You'll curate compelling content packages with top creators, showcasing their success stories and driving platform adoption.
  • Collaborate strategically with Product and Marketing stakeholders
    • You'll amplify their initiatives, integrating social media into broader marketing campaigns with a collaborative mindset.
    • You'll set quarterly channel strategies with the Senior Content Marketing manager to ensure alignment with broader marketing objectives.
  • Unlock the potential of Social as a powerful engine for lead generation
    • You'll craft unique and engaging content, leveraging all social media platforms to drive new customers to our marketing site.
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of the creator economy
    • You'll pitch new ideas and post formats to keep our channels fresh and relevant.
  • Cover local industry events in NYC
    • You'll immerse yourself in the growing creator economy hub of NYC, capturing compelling social content that underscores Teachable's prominence and engagement within the industry.
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in social media, preferably in tech, ed-tech, or SaaS industries.
  • Knowledge of the creator economy, entrepreneurial lifestyle, and/or the creator/influencer space.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to impact business metrics through strategic social media content creation and channel management.
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools, we use Later.
  • Proficiency in major social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Pinterest.
  • History of driving and owning engagement metrics on social channels, consistently monitoring performance, and implementing strategies for improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills to easily tap into big-picture thinking when it comes to social media content, and campaigns (ie channel performance analysis and engagement optimization)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and brand partners.
  • Eye for detail, design, and a vision for creating engaging social content.
  • Willingness to create both video and static content; on-camera presence is a plus.
  • Excellent research, presentation, and project management skills.
Additional Details:

At Teachable, we are committed to providing fair and competitive pay (using market data to inform our pay bands), rewarding high performance, and ensuring all employees have the opportunity and ability to impact Teachable's overall company value. Base salaries will be reviewed at regular intervals throughout the year, typically following performance review cycles currently conducted bi-annually or in conjunction with a promotion.
  • Given the requirement to attend industry events locally in NYC (as needed), applicants must be within commuting distance of our Manhattan office.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • For this role, the base salary range is $80,000 to $90,000. Total compensation also includes a competitive benefits package. A salary offer will be determined by a number of factors including experience, skill level, education, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all teammate pay and compensation programs regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay.


While Teachable maintains our NY office for local employees to use, we operate as a remote-first culture in order to give our employees added flexibility.
