The team you will be a part ofThe Social team is part of the Brand Organization. The team is comprised of social, content creation and influencer expertise to ensure we're moving at the speed of social and bringing our brands to the forefront of culture. All members of the team provide expertise and support to both our brand leads, while also collaborating directly with our in-house agency, WoW studios and bringing a social first approach to our campaigns. This role in summaryAs part of the Social Media team at Whirlpool, this role is responsible for leading the strategy and execution for best in class social across our portfolio of brands. Coordinating with media, creative and brand counterparts, you will be responsible for ensuring we're continuing to reach AND engage with our consumers across multiple social platforms.
Your responsibilities will include- Leads the social strategy and execution end to end
- Owns/plans content calendars for always on + Influencer content
- Lead the daily community management, to maintain an active and responsive community, to drive more positive interactions - while also infusing engagement full circle to new briefs.
- Collaborates with our influencer lead to expand reach and credibility within social communities.
- Partner with Strategy, Insights, Analytics, Comms and Media teams to ensure that all work is grounded in community understanding, data and insights
- Keeps abreast of the latest social media trends and best practices and shares out with broader organizations.
- Maintain a high level of quality assurance while holding the team accountable for delivering social first campaigns
- Be a cross-functional teammate who engages, listens and collaborates with internal teams on Whirlpool's overall marketing strategy.
- Be an inspiring peer and help develop out of the box and first-to-market experiences, activations, and content that will drive social conversations and increase brand love.
- Analyze key performance metrics regularly, making vital recommendations for improvement.
- Lead in social trafficking of assets for paid initiatives, while also having experience boosting always on content directly
Minimum requirements- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of experience in Social Media and/or Social Strategy
- Experience with multi-channel communications planning, using data to identify insights and build strategies for social content
- Experience across all social platforms, including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube and LinkedIn
- Experience developing and executing creative, innovative, integrated social and content
Preferred skills and experiences- A motivated social manager ready to take ownership of projects, present to teams, and eventually mentor and grow junior talent
- A passion for social, including a natural curiosity for trendspotting and identifying new channel opportunities.
- High comfort level with data and the ability to monitor, analyze, and interpret social media metrics and transform those insights into new opportunities
- Comprehensive and deep understanding of social platforms and the role they play within the broader strategy team
- Driven by a passion for evolving technologies
Compensation DataThe anticipated salary range for this position is $53,800 - $107,600 + Annual Bonus. Final compensation within this range will be determined based on several factors, including the candidate's relevant skills, professional experience, and specific educational background and certifications.
