Position Overview

The Office of the President is seeking an astute Social Media Manager to develop and execute strategies that drive engagement across social media platforms. This role spans community management, content creation (with a strong emphasis on short-form and vertical video), publishing and scheduling, campaign execution, and performance analytics.

Responsibilities
• Maintain and expand social media presence-crafting sharp copy, engaging audiences, growing followers, and raising benchmark metrics.
• Serve as primary owner of publishing content to the principal's social media channels.
• Produce short-form and vertical video (e.g., cutdowns of podcasts, interviews, and long-form analysis) in partnership with the video and editorial teams.
• Collaborate with communications, editorial, video, and design teams to align content with the principal's voice, tone, and cadence, identifying which formats resonate best with each audience.
• Pull, analyze, and report on social media metrics to assess content performance and inform strategy.
• Monitor platform and industry trends to surface opportunities to expand an audience that intersects with global politics and nonpartisan analysis.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $83,000 to $90,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
