About This Role:

We're looking for a full-time Social Media Manager to join our Marketing team reporting to the Sr. Director, Content and Communications. This role is a remote role based in the USA.

In this role, you'll play a key role in strengthening Gainsight's brand presence and audience engagement across social media by owning the social strategy across LinkedIn, X, and Instagram, producing content across formats, and running employee advocacy and executive social programs. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, creative environment and enjoys working cross-functionally with teams like Demand Generation, Brand, Content, and Communications. The ideal candidate brings strong skills in multi-format content creation, LinkedIn audience growth, and social analytics.

What You'll Do:
  • Own and execute Gainsight's social media strategy across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and emerging platforms, driving consistency in voice, cadence, and creative approach
  • Develop and manage an always-on content calendar and scheduling spanning thought leadership, product moments, customer stories, events, and real-time cultural relevance
  • Create and produce social content across formats, including written posts, short-form video, graphics, and carousels, in partnership with Brand and Design
  • Drive active community engagement on LinkedIn and other channels, including liking, commenting, and responding to conversations in a way that builds genuine relationships and keeps Gainsight visible and present in the feed
  • Build and scale Gainsight's employee advocacy program, making it easy and compelling for employees to share company content, amplify key moments, and grow their own professional presence on social
  • Own Gainsight's executive social media program, developing content strategies, writing posts, and maintaining an active presence for senior leaders across their personal Linkedin profiles
  • Partner with Demand Generation, Brand, Content, and Communications to amplify key company narratives, campaign launches, and executive announcements
  • Lead our community management practice, monitoring conversations, engaging authentically, and surfacing insights back to the business
  • Support social coverage for flagship events, including Pulse, driving real-time content and engagement before, during, and after
  • Build and own a social reporting framework, translating engagement data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for stakeholders
  • Manage agency and contractor relationships as needed to support content production and channel coverage

What We're Looking For:

Must-have skills or experience:
  • 5 to 8 years of social media experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology
  • A strong editorial and marketable-moment instinct and the ability to translate complex ideas into content that earns attention
  • Hands-on content creation skills across written, visual, and video formats, with a portfolio that demonstrates range and quality
  • Demonstrated track record of building audience and engagement on LinkedIn, including active community engagement and executive profile management
  • Experience building or managing employee advocacy programs, including familiarity with platforms like Bambu, Sprout Advocacy, or LinkedIn Elevate
  • Experience developing executive thought leadership content and working closely with senior leaders on their personal social presence
  • Comfort with social analytics tools (Sprout Social, Brandwatch, Hubspot, or similar) and a habit of making data-informed decisions
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to work across teams, align stakeholders, and move quickly without sacrificing quality
  • Strong writing skills and a distinct point of view on what makes B2B content worth reading


Our Compensation and Benefits: At Gainsight, we believe great work happens when teammates feel fully supported.

  • The starting base salary range for this role is $90,000-$110,000 USD annually. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, and location. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for an annual bonus and participation in Gainsight's equity program.
