SummaryThe Social Media Manager is direct support to the Creative Director and leads the social media strategy for Boot Barn and its Exclusive Brands and segments. This role will manage the Social Media team, oversee content creation, content posting, and creator led partnerships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Work closely with the Creative Director to develop and evolve the social media strategy across all platforms, increasing engagement rates and follower count.
- Lead content planning and execution for Boot Barn, Exclusive Brands, and segment accounts.
- Oversee content calendars to ensure consistency, alignment, and strong campaign rollout
- Partner with creative, copy, photo, and video teams to deliver cohesive, high-impact content to support campaigns and sponsorships
- Oversee day-to-day social execution, including posting, scheduling, TikTok live events, and community management.
- Manage and develop a team of social media professionals, providing clear direction, feedback, and growth opportunities
- Manage external creative partners and consultants to execute high-quality content
- Stay ahead of platform trends, algorithm changes, and competitive activity, acting quickly to ensure Boot Barn is the industry leader.
- Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.
- Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.
- Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.
- Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management.
Qualifications - Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
- Travels up to 30% of scheduled shifts
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Social Media Marketing
- Highly proficient with all social media platforms, including Meta, TikTok, X (Twitter), and Pinterest. Snapchat experience preferred.
- Knowledge of social media planning tools, Sprout social preferred.
- Must be extremely well organized, work well under pressure and be a strong problem solver

PAY RANGE: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00/yr*
*compensation varies based on geography, skills, experience, and tenure
