Full Job Description
CSlope Solutions is seeking an experienced SME Web Developer to support a federal client environment within the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP). This role serves as the senior technical authority responsible for the architecture, development, and delivery of enterprise web applications supporting mission-critical logistics operations.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in full-stack development, experience in federal or DoD environments, and the ability to lead technical teams while interfacing directly with government stakeholders.

Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise web applications and platforms
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing web solutions
  • Develop and oversee user interface designs, prototypes, and user experience strategies
  • Facilitate technical discussions and requirements development with government stakeholders
  • Lead Agile development processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and reviews
  • Mentor and oversee junior and mid-level developers; conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
  • Ensure compliance with accessibility (Section 508 / WCAG 2.1) and federal security requirements
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks; ensure high-quality delivery of all web application components


Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in web development, including leadership or SME-level responsibilities
  • Strong full-stack development experience with modern technologies such as:
    1. HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript
    2. Front-end frameworks (React or Angular)
    3. Backend frameworks (Node.js, Python, or similar)
  • Experience developing accessible web applications compliant with Section 508 / WCAG 2.1
  • Experience supporting federal or DoD IT systems and cloud environments (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Azure Government)
  • Proven experience working in Agile development environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting NAVSUP, Navy ERP, or similar DoD logistics systems
  • Familiarity with federal cybersecurity frameworks (RMF, NIST 800-53, DISA STIGs)
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or AWS Certified Developer


Security Clearance
  • Public Trust (Tier 2 or higher); Secret preferred


Work Environment
  • Work is performed on-site at a government facility in Norfolk, VA
  • Candidates must be local to or willing to relocate to the Hampton Roads area
  • This role is a full-time position aligned to a federal contract schedule
