About the RolePosition: Site Services Millwright
Schedule: Shift 7/7 - 12-hour days
Position Reports To: Site Services Supervisor
Position Overview Reporting to the Site Services Supervisor, Millwright is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and making repairs as required on Site Services equipment throughout the mine site.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain pumps, compressors, light plants, generators, and other related Site Services equipment.
- Provide input into planning weekly and annual maintenance.
- Ensure preventative maintenance is carried out in a cost-effective manner.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment as required.
- Ensure that all breakdowns are attended to immediately.
- Provide input into the development and updating of preventative maintenance systems, spare parts programs, maintenance practices and infrastructure issues.
- Assist in portable pump setup and sump monitoring.
- Inspect, Fuse, Install, and maintain HDPE piping and valving.
- Operate Site Services Mobile Equipment. Loaders, Telehandler, Skid Steer.
- Assist other Site Services Personnel in all areas as needed.
Qualifications - Journeyperson Millwright Ticket required
- Minimum of 2 years of field related experience.
- Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Valid Driver's License required minimum G2.
- HDPE pipe fusing ticket an asset.
- Dual Trades are an asset (Plumbing, Carpentry, OBT, Electrical).
The anticipated salary for this position will be between $118,000 to $128,000.
