As a Site Procurement Manager in Plattsburgh, you will lead procurement operations at a key Alstom site, ensuring our supply chain delivers on quality, cost, and reliability. Your role, Your impact- Coordinate with buyers and the procurement team on purchasing activities, supplier challenges, and Make or Buy decisions.
- Act as a facilitator between Procurement and Product Line operational teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Manage suppliers' Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) performance to support project execution and tender commitments.
- Lead operational procurement responsibilities, including negotiations and cross-site/business bundling to drive savings.
- Develop and manage the local Procurement team, monitoring workload and driving continuous improvement.

What you bring- 10 to 15 years of procurement experience, including commodity management and supplier market expertise.
- Proven management experience (5 to 10 years) leading multicultural teams in a matrix environment.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and influencing skills to drive results and build trust-based relationships.
- Ability to develop and empower teams, fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement.
- Strategic vision with a customer-centric mindset, balancing operational excellence with long-term value creation.
