Site Engineer to join our team for a
Major Underground Infrastructure Project in Toronto, Canada (on-site position).-Project: Underground Transit Infrastructure, Stations, and Tunnel Works
-Estimated duration of the position: 24 months -In general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give him/her continuity.
-SummaryAs a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for a variety of technical and coordination tasks-from managing site activities to maintaining accurate documentation. Acting as a key link between stakeholders, you will help drive communication, quality, and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
-Main Responsibilities- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with project standards.
- Maintain daily logs, site photos, and effective communication with all project teams.
- Ensure quality control by following QA/QC procedures and project specifications.
- Review drawings, identify missing resources, and support site setup activities.
- Implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), contribute to short-term planning, and track project progress.
- Develop risk assessments, enforce safety protocols, and report any site changes.
- Oversee material testing, report non-conformances, and ensure high-quality execution.
- Manage material deliveries, maintain work records, and support additional site activities.
- Promote a strong safety culture through proactive hazard identification and reporting.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support efficient project delivery.
-Working Hours:Monday to Friday - 10-hour shifts.
Rotational schedule: 2 weeks on day shift and 2 weeks on night shift.Benefits- Working for an international company currently expanding.

RequirementsRequirements- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering and construction projects.
- Familiarity with Canadian construction codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize tasks to meet deadlines and project objectives.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate project documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to anticipate and resolve site challenges.
- Proficiency in construction software for project management and reporting.
- Commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
- English level: C1 (Advanced).
