Role Description & ResponsibilitiesDassault Systèmes is seeking a Manager of Structural Simulation to lead an engineering team and drive ABAQUS and 3DEXPERIENCE adoption across the High Tech sector. This role combines technical leadership with presales, business development, and team management translating customer engineering challenges into high-value software solutions.
- Technical Sales Advisory: Partner with account teams to deliver demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, and strategic guidance to customer engineering executives.
- Business Development: Execute growth strategies across High Tech segments (e.g., electronics, semiconductors, batteries) and represent the company at industry events.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and recruit a team of simulation experts, optimizing resource allocation for high-value sales opportunities.
- Technical Authority: Differentiate software solutions against competitors and communicate the value of advanced simulation and AI/ML-driven workflows.
- Cross-Functional Strategy: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to align go-to-market strategies with customer feedback.
QualificationsMaster's Degree in Mechanical Engineering focused on Structural Simulation.
10+ years with structural simulation tools, featuring expert-level
Abaqus skills and 5+ years with the
3DEXPERIENCE Platform.
5+ years in technical presales or software sales using value-based selling methodologies.
Deep knowledge of High Tech sectors: consumer electronics, wearables, PCBs, semiconductors, batteries and an established industry network.
5+ years managing or mentoring technical professionals in customer engagement and sales execution.
Strong understanding of AI/ML integration in simulation workflows, paired with excellent executive presentation skills.
Open to significant domestic travel

Salary Pay Transparency
Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $180300 and $212100, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
