Job Summary
We are seeking a SimCorp GAIN Consultant to support enterprise data management activities within a financial services environment. The role focuses on managing inbound market data, reference data, and security master files using the SimCorp GAIN platform, formerly known as AIM Gain. The consultant will support data quality, system integration, workflow optimization, troubleshooting, and data distribution to downstream investment systems such as SimCorp Dimension. The role can be performed remotely from anywhere in the world.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage inbound reference data, market data, and security master repositories within SimCorp GAIN.
• Build, configure, and support custom components, data pipelines, and scheduled processes.
• Support data workflows and integrations between SimCorp GAIN and downstream enterprise investment systems such as SimCorp Dimension.
• Monitor and resolve data quality issues and support data cleansing and validation processes.
• Automate environment and operational tasks using scripting and programming tools.
• Optimize database queries and support relational database performance.
• Support reliable distribution of validated data to downstream investment management and accounting systems.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to troubleshoot data management and integration issues.
• Support enterprise data management processes within investment management environments.
Required Qualifications
• Strong hands-on experience with SimCorp GAIN or AIM Gain.
• Strong experience with relational databases, including Oracle and SQL.
• Experience with C#, PowerShell, Unix scripting, SQL scripting, or similar programming and scripting technologies.
• Experience supporting data management platforms, data pipelines, and system integrations.
• Understanding of reference data, market data, and security master data workflows.
• Understanding of investment management operations, mutual funds, and asset data workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
