Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field with 2+ years of experience in signal integrity measurement/simulation.
• Deep understanding of electromagnetic principles relevant to digital signal integrity.
• Proficient in using simulation tools like Ansys HFSS, CST Microwave and familiarity with MATLAB, ADS, and HSPICE.
• Hands-on experience in frequency-domain and time-domain characterization of components, including test methods.
• Experience designing and applying high-speed cables/connectors.
• Mechanical aptitude essential for interfacing disciplines.
• Project management experience considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect the signal integrity strategies for the Spectra-Strip team.
• Collaborate with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers on signal integrity topics.
• Determine resource needs and clearly communicate requirements to management.
• Identify challenges and develop effective solutions and mitigation strategies.
• Design, simulate, characterize and apply high-speed electrical cables.
• Address customer needs for high-speed data transmission and resolve signal integrity issues.
• Communicate complex signal integrity concepts effectively across various factory and customer forums.
• Implement PLM protocols for revision control and change management in signal integrity modeling.
