itD is seeking a Signal Integrity Engineer to provide engineering support for operations and manufacturing production by analyzing and resolving signal integrity challenges in high-speed hardware designs. The ideal candidate will bring experience in signal integrity, hardware design, transmission line theory, and high-speed circuit fundamentals, with hands-on experience using signal-integrity simulation and 2D/3D field-solver tools.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze signal integrity performance and support hardware designs involving high-speed circuits and transmission lines.
• Develop and evaluate signal integrity simulations using appropriate simulation and 2D/3D electromagnetic field-solver tools.
• Support engineering operations and manufacturing production by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving signal integrity issues.
• Apply transmission line theory and high-speed circuit fundamentals to evaluate design performance and recommend solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to support high-speed PCB and package development and related power or signal integrity analysis.
• Conduct laboratory measurements and validation using equipment such as oscilloscopes, Time Domain Reflectometers (TDRs), and Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs).
• Document analysis, findings, and recommendations to support design decisions, production activities, and engineering deliverables.
Internal Responsibilities:
• Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
• Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
• Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
• Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
• Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
• Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in signal integrity or hardware design.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of transmission line theory and high-speed circuit fundamentals.
• Experience with signal integrity simulation tools and 2D/3D field-solver tools.
• Ability to apply signal integrity concepts to hardware design, analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to support engineering operations and manufacturing production activities.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
• Experience with laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, TDRs, or VNAs.
• Experience with IBIS, HSPICE, ADS, MATLAB, Cadence PowerSI AC/DC, or Allegro.
• Exposure to high-speed interfaces and links such as SerDes, LVDS, CML, DDR, NRZ, or PAM4.
• Experience with high-speed PCB or package development.
• Experience with power integrity (PI) analysis.
Education:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field required.
