Agropur is looking for a night shift warehouse supervisor to join its team in St-Laurent.

The Warehouse Supervisor plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to receiving, storing, packaging products, and assembling orders.

The work schedule is from 10:30 PM to 7 AM, Monday to Saturday.

  • Salary scale 004: $73,000 to $91,200 (base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills related to the role)

  • Ensuring all health and safety requirements are met and that employees continuously work safely.
  • Actively participating in maintaining regulatory, quality, sanitation, and food safety standards.
  • Managing daily activities to execute the weekly plan based on incoming orders and ensuring both quantitative and qualitative targets are achieved.
  • Ensuring employee performance and providing the necessary support for them to reach their objectives.
  • Managing distribution center activities, including hiring, training, maintenance plan follow-up, participation in various committees, etc..
  • Enforcing the collective agreement.
  • Leading team meetings at the start of each shift.
  • Identifying risks and improvement opportunities, analyzing them, and supporting the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Conducting investigations following incidents/accidents and proposing action plans.
  • Maintaining a strong work climate by promoting participative management, communication, and continuous improvement.
  • Supporting the management of all buildings, grounds, and equipment at the distribution center.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in warehouse supervision in the food or pharmaceutical field required. 
  • Experience in a unionized environment is an asset.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English (English required to work with colleagues in other Canadian provinces) required.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of SAP or other similar ERP system.
  • Availability and flexibility to manage all shifts.
