As a
Manager II, Sterile Processing, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our Customers' expectations are met, overseeing management, production, and quality within our facility. Your leadership will drive excellence and innovation in sterile processing. This is an onsite role based in Charleston, South Carolina.
What you'll do as a Manager II Sterile Processing:- Lead and manage a high-performing team to deliver exceptional day-to-day service that meets both Customer needs and contractual obligations.
- Inspire continuous improvement by coaching employees to reach their full potential and drive operational excellence.
- Interview, hire, train, and coach team members to align with company goals and Customer expectations.
- Foster a culture of engagement and retention through consistent communication, recognition, and ongoing development.
- Deliver on Customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and host regular Customer Pulse Check meetings to review quality metrics and ensure satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with all levels of Customer stakeholders, from front-line staff to executive leadership.
- Resolve client issues efficiently and effectively, ensuring a high level of Customer trust and satisfaction.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of contract terms and provide education to Customer leadership on all aspects of contracted services.
- Implement and enforce STERIS standard processes, holding the team accountable through consistent leadership routines.
- Ensure all operational processes comply with STERIS QMS policies, regulatory standards (TJC, OSHA, CDC, AAMI, AORN), and facility procedures.
- Maintain accurate and complete administrative documentation, including time records, inventories, billing, and count sheets.
- Manage the operating budget responsibly, understanding the financial impact of decisions and staying within budgetary limits.
- Use Non-conformance documentation to identify deficiencies and implement Corrective Action Plans for continuous improvement.
The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed:- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of leadership experience in Sterile Processing, OR High School diploma with 8+ years of SPD experience with 5+ years of leadership experience in Sterile Processing.
- CRCST or CBSPD Certification. If not certified at point of hire, certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
- Must be able to be compliant with hospital/customer credentialing requirements
Pay range for this opportunity is $92,650.00 - $119,900.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
