If you are an experienced Office Management & Staff Support (Executive Assistant or Senior Administrative_ professional looking for a new opportunity to support the U.S. Navy and join a dynamic team, then Serco has an amazing opportunity for you! Serco is hiring an Executive Assistant / Office Management and Staff Support Specialist to support the front office of a senior Navy staff organization at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.

Must have an active U.S. Department of War (DoW) Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Serco supports the OPNAV N99 front office, providing executive-level administrative, scheduling, and staff support directly to the Assistant Deputy Chief of Naval Operations (ADCNO) and front office leadership. This is a fast-paced, flag-level environment where discretion, judgment, and anticipation of the principal's needs are as important as administrative execution.

This position is contingent upon residence in the National Capital Region (NCR) and the ability to work onsite at the Pentagon full time.

In this role, you will:
  • Manage calendars - schedule, deconflict, and prioritize meetings by topic and seniority; research incoming requests to determine purpose and appropriate level of participation; ensure meeting coverage when the principal cannot attend.
  • Coordinate full meeting logistics: conference rooms, special access spaces, and Visiting Flag Officer reservations; JWICS and SVTC paperwork; VTC tickets and dial-in distribution; seating charts and read-ahead materials for flag-level engagements.
  • Handle classified material and visitor control - scrub the front office before uncleared personnel enter, escort and monitor visitors, manage burn bag preparation and weekly pickup, and ensure TS/SCI tablets are collected daily.
  • Track front office personnel actions for situational awareness: required RO/RM training completion, New Employee Orientation rosters, BSO-15/BSO-11 performance plans and end-of-year assessments, civilian awards and Civilian of the Quarter nominations, and ongoing hiring actions.
  • Manage travel and correspondence - approve organizational travel in the Defense Travel System (DTS), route local travel requests for ADCNO approval, maintain NIPR and classified distribution lists, and process correspondence on behalf of front office leadership.
  • Coordinate across the staff with JAG on legal and ethical reviews of ADCNO invitations, with PAO and OLA on conference and Congressional engagements, and with other Executive Assistants to align principals' schedules.
  • Run day-to-day office operations: answer and route phone calls, greeting and direct visitors, order and track supplies, troubleshoot printer and network issues with IT or the NMCI VIP line, support offsites and All Hands Calls, attending daily standups and recurring syncs, and provide inputs to the Monthly Status Report.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • An active DoW Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
    • A U.S. citizenship.
  • A High School Diploma or higher.
  • 8 years of experience providing administrative or executive support, preferably in a DoD or military staff environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment with sensitive information and competing senior-level priorities.

Additional desired experience and skills:
  • Prior experience supporting a flag officer, SES, or equivalent senior executive; familiarity with OPNAV staff processes and Pentagon visitor control.
  • Working knowledge of DTS, DCPDS, and DISS, and experience with JWICS, SVTC, and classified material handling procedures.
